Buying property abroad in Florida could prove to be a double winner for investors, according to Property-Abroad.com.
This month, the Orlando Regional Realtor Association announced that the median price of all existing home sales decreased by 21.95 per cent in August to $99,900 (£63,139), a reduction from the $128,000 (£80,899) seen in the same month last year.
Meanwhile, completed home sales saw a rise of 10.9 per cent compared with August 2022.
Les Calvert, director of Property-Abroad.com, said there has been a “marked increase” in Florida and Orlando property enquiries which has carried on into September.
“If you are looking to buy a property in Florida as a holiday home and as an investment, it can only prove to be a double winner,” he commented.
“You are getting a property for your holidays at a cheap price and it can only go up over the terms of the investment.”
